School Time

Emily, Alise and Luke, this year you will be going to school in Chicago. I would think it would be a little exciting and alot scary!!! Your Grandpa and I will be thinking about you and praying for you on that day. We are praying that you will like your teachers, that after a few days you will find some friends, that you won't be too scared, that you will fit in, that you will study hard, that you will let Jesus shine through you, and that some day you will say you really like school in Chicago. We are so proud of you all. You are great kids and I know your teachers will really like you. Remember this verse: Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear: I will help you" Imagine God holding your hand as you go to Peterson Elementary, Grandpa and I will be picturing the same thing. We love you. Go get 'em.

We had alot of fun with Jonathan at the park. He liked everything about it. The thought of your happy, smiling face cheers grandpa and I everyday.

Josiah had a new water/sand table that he got for his 1 year birthday. He had alot of fun playing in it. We miss you sweet boy.

Emily, you are growing up so fast. You are becoming a lovely young lady. We are counting the days until Thanksgiving and we can see you again.

Remember doing peaches together at Uncle Matt's and Aunt Unity's? Grandpa and I really enjoyed sharing time with you in Chicago. I still can't really believe you live there.

New Book

Hey kids, while I was in Lousiville I found the #3 book of my Bible Story books. I was excited. It has alot of good stories in it. I can't wait to share it with you. Jonathan and Josiah I think you will enjoy these books when you get just a little older.

Gracie

Thought you might like to see a picture of Gracie. She is doing good. Doesn't she look pretty?

Chicago

In one short week we will see you at your new home, Chicago. Doesn't that sound funny. We will start to make new memories. Grandpa and Grandma love Chicago so we are looking forward to our times there. Remember the books I make for each of you about your visits? I am going to put our Chicago visits in them now. That way we will be able to remember all the good times. See you in Chicago. Love, Grandma

A visit from Alise

Alise came to Grandpa and Grandma's house for her visit. We went out on a paddle boat at the park. That is something we have not done before. Here is Alise sitting on the boat. We had alot of fun that day and every day of her visit.
