Going To Camp

Some of my very best memories are of camp. I loved it when I was a girl. My camp wasn't real fancy be we sure had a lot of fun. Of of my best memories was a friend I made at camp that couldn't walk because of polio. We pulled her all over in a red wagon. She could however really swim. They would set her on the edge of the diving board and she would dive in. The other great thing about camp was that it was there I made a decision to follow Christ with my whole heart my whole life. That was the best decision I ever made. Grandpa and I will be praying for you Emily and Alise as you head off to camp. Have a great time.

New Tooth

Emily lost her tooth while at Grandma and Grandpa Ostercamps. Here is a picture of the tooth along with a note to the fairy to return her tooth. She has plans to also try out the Minnesota Tooth Fairy. (Smart girl) The next picture is of Emily with her gift from the generous Iowa Tooth Fairy. She spent one of the dollars at the swimming pool for an ice cream sandwhich today.

A visit from Josiah

Look at this cute little guy. Josiah came with his dad and mom to visit the first week of June. He liked to get real silly and make us laugh. We took him to the park and he enjoyed swinging. He is such a happy boy and was lots of fun to have around. Thanks for coming Joey, we love you.

A visit from the Ostercamp Kids

The first week of June Emily, Alise, Luke and Natalie came for a visit. We went to the zoo among other things. We had a great time. Here we are on a Sunday morning. Thanks kids for the visit. Grandpa and I had a great time.

Zoo Trip

Today I am thinking about our trip to the Zoo. We really had a fun day didn't we. I thought I'd put up some pictures of our favorite spot, the bird cage. It was fun to get the sticks coated with seeds and watch they birds come to us. I didn't get a piture of Natalie because I think the birds kind of scared her when they got up close. When they flew the startled her. Thanks for spending the time with us, Grandpa and I really had a good time with you.
